Nike Air Max 1 Premium – Black/Cocoa Edition

November 20th, 2008 | Category: Air Max

First introduced in 1987, these Nike’s have stayed classics for 2 decades. Smooth black leather and white trim make these simple, yet sexy. The small air bubble also gives it the Nike feel. These are one of my favorites in my opinion.

Nike Air Max 95

November 18th, 2007 | Category: Air Max

nike-air-max-95-blue-grey.jpgNike has always stunned shoe lovers with its new and innovative design of shoes and the new arrival of the Nike Air Max 95 does just that! This unique underground shoe is the creation of Sergio Lozano an industrial design alumni and he seems to have put in all his creativity in the design of the Nike Air Max 95. This pair of shoes takes the human body as its inspiration and the designer has surely done a stunning job with its Anthracite and Anthracite – Flint Grey – Stealth color scheme. The different parts of the shoes represent the different parts of the body. The lovers of Air Max 95 fondly call it simply 95s since the model was brought in 1995. This model features a midsole that resembles the spine, while the panels of it are like the muscles of the body. The loops and straps for laces represents the ribs, the skin of the body finds representation in the mesh of the shoes. The designer has got a complete human body in the design of the shoe.

The Nike Air Max 95 is available in as many as 150 colors and that is the main reason for its popularity besides the comfort it gives. The highest technology has been followed in the design of the Nike Air Max 95, the air sole in the rear and the front side of the shoe mixed with its other features make this model a sturdy pair of shoes.

Nike Air Max

September 08th, 2007 | Category: Air Max,Nike Shoes

The Nike Air Max shoe is my personal favorite. With its lightweight design, and distinctive air bubble cushioning, these shoes are made for runners. Because of special materials needed to create this shoe, it usually carries a higher price tag. Most Air Max models start at $129, and can go well above $250 for non-rare colors. The more rare color combinations can run many hundreds of dolors. Here are some examples of Air Max:

These are one of my favorite Nike’s. The shoes shown above are the Nike Air Max 95 in gray and white with green air bubbles. They run about $150 retail, but you can usually get them cheaper online when they are on sale. You can buy the Nike Air Max 95 here. You can also get them here.

This is the Nike Air Max 90: Eminem Edition.

I especially like this model of Air Max because of the great use of green and blue and the smaller air bubble instead of the usual 360 degree bubble. Eminem himself designed these Nike’s for charity and they have been very popular with collectors. These rare models are usually very hard to find in stores, but a good place to always try are places like Sporty LA (shoe store in Los Angeles) and online forums such as Hypebeast.com.
