Air Jordan Retro V RA

November 19th, 2007 | Category: Air Jordan

air_jordan_retro_v_ra.jpgThe Air Jordan Retro V RA pair of shoes is an authentic item for collectors, due to its unique design. This edition of the Air Jordan is known to be rare and hence, a must grab for collectors wherever they find one. The Air Jordan V is the work by designer Tinker Hatfield, and it truly is a work of art with its ice sole, and the tongue and the heel featuring embroidery. The Air Jordan V is not the exact copy of the IV Air Jordan just a few features were taken from the previous release. Otherwise, the Air Jordan V is replete with new features. There is a laser cut like pattern in the upper part of the shoe, there is an embroidered Jumpman on the ice sole, heel and the tongue of the pair. The silver colored reflexive tongue and the transparent sole of rubber make the Air Jordan V a hit among Air Jordan fans.

There are lacelocks and the midsole of the shoe feature shark like teeth, which is the reason why many think that the pair took inspiration from a fighter plane of the Second World War. Although this fact is only a rumor and is not accounted for by the designer of the shoes. The rubber sole in this edition of the Air Jordan gets yellow and this has turned away some of the fans of Air Jordan. The rubber sole feature of the V edition has also been carried over in the later editions of the Air Jordan.
