Adidas is getting ready to drop the Mutombo Retro. This shoe first hit the scene in 1993 when Mutombo was playing for the Denver Nuggets. In the late 90’s he stopped rockin’ Adidas and switched over to Nike. In this new retro edition Adidas has changed up the design a bit and removed the original tribal artwork, and Mutombo’s number 55, from the ankle collar. This shoes has not been officially renamed yet, but be on the look out for it this fall in all major urban retailers.  Via:Sole Collector
