This year the Japanese sneaker company celebrates its 60th anniversary - a major milestone
in Japanese culture surrounded with symbolism regarding the ‘Cycle of Life’. To do this it looks back to its great cultural heritage by reworking the Japanese Zodiac Legend, which tells the story of the 13 animals who raced against each other to secure a place in the Zodiac Calendar.

The Zodiac Race diorama is a spectacular, highly detailed metre-long sculpture shaped like a sneaker. Recreating a mythical Japanese landscape using the five elements – Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water – it features Japanese landmarks including Mount Fiji, the Tottori Sand Dunes, the dry volcanic area of Kyushu and the pylons powering the neon lights of Tokyo.

The Zodiac Race, set on the diorama, is also the subject of a three-minute animation
that brings the race to life and shows how the animals - featuring rat, ox, monkey and dragon - competed against each other to secure a coveted place in the calendar.

Online visitors can also explore the island in 3D, learn more about this legendary race,
the historic landmarks, and also find out their own Japanese Zodiac sign.

These Bapes are sick. They are more simple than the usual Bape line, which makes me like them all the more. They come in an array of colors but these blue, white, and tan ones are my favorite. The star is blue, tongue is tan and rest of the shoe is white. Very classy. The front is made of rubber which gives them extra longevity.

First introduced in 1987, these Nike’s have stayed classics for 2 decades. Smooth black leather and white trim make these simple, yet sexy. The small air bubble also gives it the Nike feel. These are one of my favorites in my opinion.

There are some new colorful kicks out from Adidas. These kicks are designed around a food court theme. The shoe pictured above is the Polson ST. It is created after the chain Orange Julius. It has a an orange, green, and white colorway. This shoe is scheduled to be released later this month.

Adidas has created a sneaker that has been made from recycled and natural materials. If you are looking for a sneaker that not to people would dare to wear, then try these Puma Suede Mid X Atmos Penguins. These sneaker is so different, and unique. Definitely not for the conservative type, but more for the risk taker who likes to have their kicks get some attention. The penguin is one of six animal themed Atmos to come out. This collection has a good hidden agenda to it, and that is to raise awareness of the six animals that are facing rick of becoming endangered, due to environmental conditions.
